Is the receipt scanner free?+
Yes. You can start scanning receipts on the free plan. Paid plans raise the monthly scan allowance and unlock advanced reporting.
Can businesses use it for invoices and expenses?+
Yes. Supplier invoices, business receipts and card statements scan the same way, and business plans add sales tracking with Profit & Loss reporting.
Do I need to photograph the whole receipt?+
No. Capture the part that matters — the shop name, the items and the total. Long receipts can be photographed in sections.
What if it reads a price wrong?+
The review screen shows every extracted line before anything is saved, and flags anything it wasn't confident about so you can fix it in a tap.
Can it scan handwritten or faded receipts?+
It handles faded thermal print and abbreviations well. Genuinely unreadable prices are kept as a line with the price left blank for you to complete rather than being discarded.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?+
Yes — Edentro X runs as a native app on iOS and Android, and in any browser on desktop.
What happens to my receipt images?+
They're stored privately against your account so you can view the original later. You can export or delete your data at any time.
